I would exactly say the issue is solved but the problem of the expression pedal not working in some programs has been fixed. I tried several attempts at re-initializing and such with no luck. Finally, I decided to reload my user bank from a sysex file from my computer. Bam! Everything works fine now, just like before. The pedal was not working with programs I had stored on flash card not even the preset patches before that so I can't really say what went wrong to begin with or what may have caused it but the sysex download was enough to jump start it back to life again.
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing before????
