  • Editor for QSR?

Is there an editor (WinXP) for the QSR that doesn't suck? I've been trying to use QE Plus with little success (an interface intuitive only to the developer, I suspect), and QControl doesn't seem to be much less of a pressure differential vortex. I dropped $25 for the former, and don't particularly want to drop another $30 for the latter, particularly because the demo prevents me from finding out how useful it's going to be. (I'm a software engineer of sorts and have been out of the music scene for a while, but geez oh pete! haven't any music software deveopers ever heard of interface design or usability testing?)
