: I bought a QS6.1 at end of May 2002. After two weeks one key became lower in volume and would occassioanlly not work at all, but only in piano modes where resonance depends on you hitting the key. Sent it for repair under warranty (took almost four weeks to come back) and two days after getting it back I now have two different keys that are lower in volume and that don't have the "clink" sound in piano mode. The repair center said they had to clean the contacts the first time.Does anyone know if this is a constant problem with these units? Would I need to use some type of dust cover when it is not being used ? I only play at home so it does not get handled much. When I researched it before buying I read that these units were pretty sturdy. Appreciate any feedback.

I've not run into your problem. How hard do you play?

A dust cover never hurts! Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just an old towel or pillow case.
