I haven't tried it because I have a 512k Ram card that holds all the expando banks so an 8 meg will be more than adequate. You cannot store any samples on the card. If you do then it's limited to the one bank of presets. I think I remember reading somewhere that you have to re-format the card to clean it of any sample data, then it will be an empty RAM card and you can load it with the Expando banks.
