Or - if you have a flash memory card, you can use soundbridge to download a .wav file, or you can look through the SYX files at this midiworld site and use freeloader to download patches.

: : I want to have thunder claps and also rain sounds available for a song I want to do live. I don't want to buy an expensive sfx card though. I have the QS7.1 and am trying to figure out if I can use Sound Bridge software to input an MP3 file of thunder (Or any other formats you guys know about)into the sampler in the keyboard.

: : This is my bandmates new keyboard!! I can barely use my Roland XP-50 sequencer...so needless to say, I have no clue what I am doing. Any thoughts on how I get thunder on our keyboard????

: : Thanks

: You can program a decent thunder effect yourself by using the applause sample from the GM sound bank and tuning it down all the way. Then add some reverb\delay and even route an LFO as a mod source. I did it on my S4+ and on a QS6.1 with pretty convincing results. You could conceivably use the same waveform for rain. Just don't tune it so low, adjust filter frequency and\or Amp attack to roll off some of the clap part of the sound, then swim it in reverb.
