I found that if I used a preset drum patch and replaced the sounds of what I wanted (let's say the snare on D2) the parameters were already set for what I needed. I think you CAN set decay amplitude with a bit of programming. I would suggest looking at all of the prog parameters of an exisiting patch (or note in a drum kit) - also, can you adjust the amplitude envelope?

: right now im getting my new qs ready for a gig. im trying to map my samples across the keys with sound bridge and im understanding just about everything. the only problem is that if i put samples in under the as a "drum" program, the longer samples' amplitudes die off towards the end. i thought id fix this problem by adjusting each individual decay/sustain, but to my surprise this cant be done. so i guess my option is to create a "keyboard" program with Awave and assign different samples to each note. then i could adjust the decay/sustain accordingly. unfortunately, my main computer is a mac, and awave is for pc, so im having to jump back and forth between computers. is there an easier way around this problem?
