You can try just sweeping the filter. Hell, if I was able to get that sound with a korg ds8 in the late 80s with my cover band, you can do it with the qs.

Try creating a patch where you're sweeping the filter down, make sure you have the sus to max in the amp envelope so that the filter gets chance to close. I would create maybe 4 instance of that patch, slightly detuned, to fatten up the sound.

You can also use the Inverse Flange effect to simulate resonance. You will need to run your waveform through the Flange effect with negative feedback and modulate the flange depth to simulate a sweep. Unfortunately, you cannot use an envelope as a mod source, but you can access any of the other real time controllers, and sweep it manually.

You could also try putting some overdrive to add some bite.

Alternatively, use a control source input to the Tracking Generator routed through the Modulation Matrix to control crossfades of the Filter Env Amplitudes between multiple sound layers. For example:
MOD SOURCE = ALFO
DESTINATION = AENV AMP
LEVEL = +99
With the right Tracking Generator settings you can make smooth sounding crossfades between ROM waves, particularly the sawtooths with the different cutoff and resonance settings.

There was a even better trick to simulate resonance, and I can't remember... arghhh
