You have a new, never-been-used QS7.1, it's just been warehoused for 2 years. That means they've been overstocked for a while, which is probably why they're liquidating them. Alesis probably announced their discontinuation of the QS7.1, and maybe are offering Sam Ash a discount on their stock. Either way, Sam Ash won't sell them less than cost, and they still might be making money. Let's you know their markup when you notice that until the blowout, they were going for $1000!
: Does anyone know when Alesis stopped making the 7.1? I just bought mine, supposedly new, and it was manufactured in Oct. of 2000. That sounds hardly new to me.
