OK, Bert;
It appears that you want to store USER BANKS to your FLASH RAM card directly from your synth. As Paul W. said, in order to do it that way, you must first send that info. to your computer as a SysEx file (using a SysEx utility like Freeloader), to then be returned to the synth and "burned" to the FLASH RAM via Sound Bridge.
The simple way to store USER BANKS from the synth to a card is to use an S-RAM card. It will store (up to) eight banks directly from your synth via the USER store function, or, you can load banks with a SysEx utility from your computer directly to the same S-RAM card.
The synth will recognize an S-RAM card as able to store BANKS directly from your synth.
Remember that a FLASH RAM card has to be "burned" using Sound Bridge. To my knowledge, the USER BANK cannot be loaded directly from the synth to FLASH RAM.
So whatever Sound Bridge can load to your cards is the limitation.
I hope this clears the air for you on the subject. I know that the manual is a little unclear at times if you don't already know how to do some of the procedures, and sometimes it's difficult for someone else to grip what the problems are in order to be of much assistance, but we can try, eh?
Regards, Kyle.
