The QS will transmit a standard pitch wheel midi output when you move the wheel - the trick will be to program your JV to respond to it - looks like you'll need to use some editing software to do that as it seems as if the JV has a limited user interface - I would try the roland forum. If you wish the QS to output a different midi message on a pitch wheel move, you probably can, but you'll still have to tell the JV what to look for....assuming that I know what I'm talkin' 'bout
: : Hi all,
: : I know there must be a simple way to do this: The pitch wheel on my QS6.1 is set to go up and down a whole step. I want to change it to a minor third. The wrinkle is, I am using the Alesis keyboard as a master controller and want to control a JV-1010 making a program in IT respond to the QS6.1 pitch wheel. I've searched hi and low to find an answer, but have had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
