All:
I have been successful loading banks (*.SYX) files, samples (*.wav) files and sequences (*.MID) files all on the same flash ram card (8 MB).

When using Soundbridge, you need to be careful when selecting file types. You can see all file types by selecting 'all files' from the file menu when browsing for files.

Unfortunately, I have only been able to load one bank *.syx file per card, I have about 15 sequences loaded all work fine...most of the time. What I mean by this is that if you load the expansion banks from the Alesis website, these *.SYX files work however, there are other *.syx files that either simply won't select in Soundbridge or if they do, then the bank programs don't work...but the mixes do.

I was trying to find out how you get the other three banks on the card since Alesis literature says you can get 4 banks per card.

I think all the expando banks will load and work, the q card banks load but the programs don't work, only the mixes. I've been successful with the above along with several jazz midi sequences from this website.

Hope this helps.

Goodluck,
John

: My understanding, after wrestling around with the same deal, is: one can write sequences OR programs and mixes to the FLASH RAM card, OR, to the S-RAM card, but not both on the same card. Whenever I have tried to do both, the synth won't let it happen. So I use an S-RAM card for my extra banks, and a FLASH RAM for sequences.
: If anyone knows a way to do what you describe, I too, would be interested in that proceedure.
: Let's see if anybody out there has the know-how.
