Does anyone know if it is possible to reprogram the note assignments on a QS 8.1? I would like to create a reverse keyboard to effectively make mine a left-handers keyboard. Basically it would end up totally reversed, with middle C swapping places with middle E.
I would think it is possible, much in the way you can reassign drum sounds and other effects but am not sure how to go about it. I tried emailing Alesis but received no response.
There is a gentleman in Great Britain who has designed Keyboard Mirror midi module that is available for purchase but I do know that he initially reprogrammed one of his keyboards before designing the module. He has since had an actual left hand piano custom built.
I am, of course, trying to save $115 and so am trying to figure out if the reprogramming is possible with the QS.
