Anybody else encounter problems with Alesis Q-Cards? I have both the Classical and Sanctuary Q-cards that seem to be notorious for problems.
My QS-8 wont recognize the Classical Q-card in either slot A or B, and some of the patches on the Sanctuary Q-card will crackle when they are played.
This happened once before and I simply exchanged the Sanctuary Q-Card at the dealership where I got it, but the card is acting up again like it did before.
Once in a while, "Address Error" will pop up in the display and the only thing I can do is "reboot" the QS-8 to make it functional again.
I know this can't be a problem with my QS-8 working with the Q-cards, because I also have the Vintage Synth Q-card and it works perfectly.
Both the Classical and Sanctuary Q-cards have had very little use, and this has really got me stumped.
