How are you supporting it? If you're using a X-type stand, it's not well supported and it's causing the case to bend, causing the action problems. One trick is to lay a piece of wood over the stand and then put the keyboard over it. This is a common problem with large 88 key synths. (I've seen this with the kurz's, for instance)
Alesis is slowing getting back to its feet. You should hopefully be able to get spare parts soon. I have a friend who's been waiting for a part for his DM Pro for 6 months now... so good luck.
