    Markku,

That's a good question there. I'm also curious how other people work out their tunes.

I do it *precisely* the same you do, concerning data saving/loading. I always use User Mix 00 for that. Most basically, before going ahead with any mix setup, I choose a program where I get the effects from. When necessary, I edit the program's effects and save it there. Then I switch to mix mode and get that program and assign the mix effect channel effects to that program. And that's it... then I go around with other channels/programs building up the mix/song. By the end I dump all the QS data into a Cakewalk sysex file, and that's it.

Well, in fact, I proceed the same way with my other gear, so by the end my cakewalk project contains all my fundamental sysex data.

But now that I've answered this question, I remind a problem that I'm having in sysex transfers... better post it now on the forum.

    Regards!

    - Nelson
