Data corruption when loading banks

I've been having trouble with loading whole banks into SoundDiver, (or any program for that matter) but I can edit patches just fine.

In SoundDiver here's the symptoms:
1. When I request more than one sound, some of the patch data is incomplete.

2. The data that's missing seems like it's towards the end of the stream, usually missing effects, or some sounds turned off.

3. There aren't any errors to speak of. Just bad data.

4. Simple patches (with less data, I assume) have no loss.

5. The lost data is consistent for certain patches. For example, the same patches will be corrupted the same way on each load.

I've tried monkeying around with timeout values and buffer settings to no avail.

Any ideas as to what might be going wrong? Any questions that, if answered, could lead to a solution?
