Les:

Thanks so much ! In about 5 minutes after receiving your response, I saved the voice on the 4MB card, create a set of banks on the 512K card, and modified voice 1 to use the new sound. I won't embarrass myself further by saying how long I've been trying to get this to work but suffice it to say THANK YOU ! Tom.

: Tom,

: SRAM cards can be used either with SoundBridge to store samples and patches, or with the QS to store
: patches or full banks. Once you format a card for SoundBridge, it will act as a ROM card, you can't write to it from the QS. The only way to change anything on the card is by reloading the whole thing again from Soundbridge.
: If you want to use the SRAM card to save your patches or extra banks directly from the QS, first you have to reformat it, and it will act like extra user banks, but no samples, no SoundBridge. So you have to get two cards, one for samples (SoundBridge stuff) and another one as extra rewritable user banks.

:
: : I've been able to use SoundBridge 3.0 to save new samples as well as a single program bank on an Alesis 512K RAM Card. However, when I try to use this card to modify one of the programs on the card (to use the new sound) and then save it, I get the message "CRDA BANK IS ROM ONLY. CANT STORE." I've also tried this with a PRETEC 4MB card and get "CARD A IS FLASH MEM. CANT STORE". Any idea what I'm doing wrong.
: : Thanks. Tom
