: : Thank you very much for your help Drasch I really appreciate you taking the time to sort me out! I was wondering if anyone else also recommended the Roland Ev 5 or any alternatives? Like the ones Yamaha or other companies make?

: : Oh Drasch if you read this, I'm also curious if the Roland EV 5 has spring response? I can't seem to find the info but I want to do things like wah wah effects that seem to require that (sorry I am not a guitarist either and am just trying to describe what I see and hear ^-^)

: : Thanks again! I'm very grateful

: I also use an EV5 and I like it too. It does not have a spring so it stays in whatever position you leave it in. As I play
: two boards, this is useful - otherwise I would have to grow another foot.

: A related question - does anyone know of a on/off foot switch that has two states - ie you click it to go from on to off and clock it again to go off
: to on. I would like one to use as a leslie speed controller.

Hi,

The Boss FS-5L is such a footswitch, (but i don't
know it).
But watch out, because they offer two very similar
Footswitches.
FS-5L (toggle on/off state by clicking it)
FS-5U (sustain pedal like, press->on ; release->off)

That information i got by just searching in an online
Music-store, so I'm sure you will be able to find a
lot more.

:-) Drasch
