As long as you have each patch assigned to a diff midi channel, when you click on the inst you wish to record, Logic sets the QS to record only the midi channel you have assigned to that patch. If you have to , you can go into global edit and set the midi parameters for the midi channel you are recording, but, through my experience, Logic sent the sysex commands to set the midi In, Out, and keyboard automatically.

: Here's the problem: I can record a midi track from my keyboard into Logic. So far, so good. But then, when I want to record a second track (different patch) to go with the first one, the output of the already-recorded track is played with the patch chosen for the second track and also recorded on the second track. What am I doing wrong? I'm using Logic to send bank/program changes to the multitimbral program (00) on the QS7.1.
