There should be a parameter on your sequencer labeled "BkMsb" or something close to that. "Msb" stands for Most Significant Bit (or Byte. I can't remember). Anyway, the QSR respondes to bank change messages from this setting. I assume all QS synths do the same. Set it to 1,2 or 3 for preset banks, 4 for your GM bank and 0 for your user bank, then choose the program you want from that bank.
