Thanks so much for your reply. I guess I really don't need sequnces at the moment. I have one other question. When you load your midi file do you have to physically call up the mix for that song or does it automatically load up on your QS6.1?

: What I've done is just simply save the midi files to a floppy disk and just take that in along with my gear (no workstation). You're right about saving them to SRAM or Flash cards. They're just one block of data and you can't edit them at all. They're only there for playback on your synth.

: And, yes, you can use samples burned to Flash cards in your sequences. Even sequences that are burned to the same card. I do it all the time.

: As far as sysex stuff, I don't know much about it either but I haven't had to worry about it yet in the studio.
