Hmmm. When you are loading sysex files or midi files or samples into a SoundBridge project, you aren't really interacting with the PCMCIA card itself at that stage, but just creating a file on your computer. You only interact with the card after you've created the project and seek to transmit it to the card in your QS.

Do you have the card information set up (size etc.)? Are the samples in a Soundbridge compatible format and of a size that is consistent with the what you say the card size is?

When you set up the connection between your QS and computer, does Soundbridge indicate that it sees and can communicate with the card?

: I understand that; I am also wondering about samples. Aren't they supposed to be able to be loaded into a project via SoundBridge? Also, my SRAM card isn't erased when I click on "Erase Card" -- I had some address errors in the card when I got it, and I want to clear it out and do a sort of reinitialization with its banks in sysex format...but the program won't comply and clear the card!

: : When using Soundbridge to load Sysex files, it will only recognize files for a complete bank of programs where the file is of exactly the right size. Anything else (like a single patch) and it just ignores it. So, if you're trying to load something other than a full bank that's likely the problem.

: : : I don't know if anyone out there has had this problem with SoundBridge, but it's not working at all for me. I just got the newest version, 3.0, and neither that nor the earlier version worked! What I mean is, the dialog box would pop up to add sysex files or samples or whatever, but it wouldn't add them to the project at all! Is there something I'm not doing right?
