Thanks for your very lucid and thorough reply. Since I'm going to be purchasing to use with
Cakewalk Pro Audio, and not for performance, looks like I need to look elsewhere.
Any thoughts on the new Roland RS-5? I was looking at that one, as well as the XP-30, though
I liked that Alesis because it could be expanded, minus the extra $$ for the XP-30.
Thanks again, and a trip to the library is definately planned!
