I can't agree more on the point you made and the info is very good also. But, I would like to
add that you are correct on getting the right keyboard for practicing. I originally started with
a cheap Casio. That was just fine for fooling around with, but after I bought an Alesis QS8 it
took some time getting used to the hammer action. (had a Kawai 61 note before that)
Also, I have noticed that with most of the smaller/cheaper brand keyboards, the keys are not
only shorter but slightly narrower than standard piano and good keyboards. So, if learning
to play the piano is what is intended, it would most definately be worth it to purchase the correct
''feel'' piano or keyboard.
