As far as the qs6.. you're grasping at straws I'm afraid. I doubt anyone will bother with coming up with a training course. There is a video on using it, I think from alexander publishing (??). Alesis used to have workshops around the country, but they are usually geared to their new stuff. Good luck get technical help from them... can't really blame them though, given the price of the synths.
In general synth manufacturer's don't do a good job in covering how their synths integrate with sequencing packages, and documentation for sequencing packages is too general and not specific. I'm just about figuring out all the functionality of cw with my yamaha cs6x, which makes the qs6 seem like a walk in the park.
I've personally never had too much trouble. I use CW9 with my qs6 and other equipment. Try visiting some of the cakewallk forums and listening in.
: Are there any truly GOOD educational institutions that offer classes specifically targeted at users of Alesis synthesizers and Cakewalk software?
