I have the same setup as you do, except with different software and a DM5 for drums but this explanation should work.
What you need to do is DISABLE channel 10 on the QS6 and set your drum machine to receive data only on channel 10. This way the QS6 will ignore any data on 10 and the drum machine will only play channel 10 and ignore all other channels.
I have a QSR so I don't know exactly how to disable channels on the QS6 but check your manual for this and the drum machine.
