Most editors will allow you to transfer one sound at a time. My qs6 came with Unysin and it has this capability.

You can audition sound by sound from a external bank without having to load it the entire bank. Unisyn will load an individual sound into the edit buffer and from then you can save it to a specific memory slot.

And don't worry, it's hard nowadays to really loose information if you do it correctly. Gone are the days of tape backup thankfully.

Connections are pretty easy, just midi out of the qs to the midi in of the computer interface, and vice versa. From then own you're on your own depending on what editor you have.
