Robson -- Looks like the SonicForge "XP" version doesn't have the Edit/Sample option on the Special menu, only some tools to Edit existing Acid loops. I spent some time with the Awave Studio demo last night and that does the trick, and a really nice interface showing exactly where and how the end/start of the loop segments line-up. Will probalby just go this route. Thanks again for the help.

: : Robson -- Thank you for the instructions, I'll try them this evening. I have also downloaded a demo version of Awave and looked at some of the manual / help file info there. I will also give that approach a try. Thanks again.

: OK, Frank.
: There are very good tips on page http://midiworld.com/quadrasynth/qs_crd.htm (or click on left side menu, at CARDS).
: Download the "Guide for QS Card Users" (.ZIP files, containing Word documents) and get very useful informations about loopings and AWave (or other software).
: P.S.: thanks to Chris Papageorgiou for these tips!

: Bye.
