I notice that the price of the QS 8.1 has dropped about $200 (e.g. Sam Ash, Musician's Friend, Mars, etc.) recently... plus, Alesis is giving away a free Q-card with a purchase up through December. These are the types of actions that typically take place when a manufacturer is going to revise or discontinue a product. Does anyone know if Alesis is planning to offer a product say, more competitive with the Yamaha S-80 (in terms of quality of the sounds) or is planning perhaps to release a new set of Q-cards or go to Memory Sticks?
