- I would look at the vintage keyboards and not at the vintage synths. yes, the vintage synths have none (I have one). The goal of this card is to emulate the old analog synths (moogs, arps, sequential). I've yet to get any feedback from anyone who has a vintage keyboards card (geared to eps, wurlitzers, rhodes, clavis etc) as I've been thinking about getting one myself.

- You can try to get a Rhodes sample and try to setup it up yourself with soundbridge. For some reason I recall this being discussed here before.

- You can try one of the 'piano modules'- ie the kurzweil micropiano or the oberheim. Again, I recall somebody mentioning something about a rhodes sample in the oberheim.

: I have a QS8 and my friend has a Roland A-90 and I regret to say that his Rhodes patch is so much better than the Alesis (doesn't even have one). I was looking into the vintage synth card and I heard that doesn't even have one either. Why is this? Even more important, where can I get a decent rhodes sound? I'd hate to go out and have to buy an A-90 when I really love my QS8!
