: Was able to get my QS7 and PowerPC connected today with the serial cable and used Soundbridge successfully. On the Mac, had to choose the right port in Chooser and turn Appletalk off, then used Patchbay to make sure the Midi Ins/Ons were virtually connected to Soundbridge Ins/Outs. On QS, used global setting edit to select I/O=Mac. This took me 6 hours! and I am still having problems with Midi going from the QS into Cubasis.

I recommend:
1) Switch to the Opcode Music System version 2.3 as soon as possible.
2) I started out using the printer port, and Cubasis kind of assumes you want
to use the modem port. You have to change the port of every track manually on pre-existing (imported) MID files .
It will work, but it's not very "Mac-like".
