Hi Jennifer

I found the QS7 sounds to be the most amazingly flexible sounds when used in PROGRAM mode. For playing live, the QS7 and QS8 are great keyboards, but in a MIDI setup they tend to lose some of their sparkle. A lot of the sounds use effects, which are very complex and very powerful, but these effects seem (to me anyway) to be cut way down when the synth is put into it's multitimbral MIX mode. This is where MIDI hookup is used, so depending on what you want to use the synth for, make sure you check out some demo songs on the synth (demos other than the one's provided on the actual synth).
