The MIDIWORLD Pages are now officially open! Thanks to Michael J. Starke we even have our own
Grand Opening Fanfare to prove it. We encourage visitors to drop us a line and let us know what you think. We are always looking for new resources, original ideas, and content. Help us make midiworld a site for all things midi. With the advent of computers and synthesizers there has been unprecedented access to high quality composition and playback resources. Telecommunications make it possible for anyone with a modem to access the web. This is a great time for electronic musicians to upload their sequences and sound files. Musicians no longer have to hope for a one in a million chance to be heard. The era of the major label recording industry is ending. This is the new musical frontier. Get involved, whether you like collecting midi files, would like to highlight your music, or need information that isn't in the synthesizer manual that is 300 pages thick and without an index. We value what others think and will respond to readers interests. These pages are constantly evolving, become part of midiworld...contribute, and most of all enjoy.
