Can't get my head round this..

I've been playing a Kawai K4R using a Yamaha PSR as the master keyboard.
No prob's there,.. MIDI Out on the Yamaha to Midi IN on the Kawai.

The Kawai is cumbersome to program, so I downloaded an editor and connected the Kawai to my P.C. soundcard using MIDI ports.

How do I "play" the Kawai now, as the P.C. is now connected to MIDI In & MIDI Out of the Kawai !!

Sureley this same problem exists for all Master Keyboard / Sounmodule setups, & how do I solve it ??

    Appreciate any help. Thanks.
