in Control Panel, Sound and Audio Devices, Hardware, I also have: Edirol UM1 listed
And under Audio tab of Control Panel, Sound and Audio Devices, Midi Playback, I have Edirol UM1 listed as default device.
Still doesn't work (this was my original configuration..my original posting didn't list this)
