usb driver to pc problems

i bought a yamaha music keyboard and tryed to install the driver -i followed the instructions to the letter -it installs but it says there is a problem -i've tryed reinstalling but get same results i'm running windows xp.
i've even got the latest driver update but still have the problem .
any ideas whats wrong.
