I don't know of a list but if you need examples of MIDI layouts just go to google and search for 'MIDI Layouts' under the 'graphics' tab. This will produce endless diagrams of possible MIDI setups and the various devices used in MIDI production.
PS: This is probably even more daft, but, I'm not talking to the real Brian Eno am I?
