Have had lots of experience (aka headaches) dealing with Piano Discovery 3.0 and Win98 SE. One thing I found out was your sound card needs to be on IRQ 10 and not have any conflicts. I wound up installing a newer sound card in order to get the program to work on my old Gateway Pentium Pro 200 as I had too many devices (2 modems, USB card, SCSI card, etc.) and the old sound card would not work. I installed a new PCI 128 Sound Blaster and got it to grab IRQ 10 and the program has worked fine since. Hope this helps.
