It is not possible to place 2 soundcards in 1 computer. Soundcards have the annoying desire to always take up the same IRQ (#7). I've tried it too with a on-board audio card and my SBLive card, but only the soundblaster was seen.
If you would try it with a few totally different (read: old) cards you might have a chance.
I'd just get me a new and expensive audio card if I were you, but you probably tried this to save yourself some this.
