Triggering an ES-1

Hey everyone...I've recently gotten a Roland TMC-6 trigger to midi converter and a PD-6 trigger pad. My bass player has a Korg ES-1 sequencer and we've been experimenting with sequencing drum beats or strings to play simultaneously with live instruments. Any ideas as to how to cue entire sequences with this setup? (i.e. starting/stopping programmed beats with just the pad trigger). Much appreciated.
