Korg N364- Korg N264

Anyone familier with setting up 2 korgs together via midi.
N364 is master (midi out) and N264 is slave (midi in) When all connected, I can easily simultanesly utilize combi/prog modes, but the slave will not follow in seq edit modes! any ideas? Thanks , Phil.
