I have amd athlon 2000+ xp pc and yamaha psr 540 keyboard.i want to do sequenceses and through midi cables i want to use other soffisticated instrument sounds which are in pc.my system configuration is amd athlon 2000+ xp processer,asus 266 MHz bus speed mother board,256 mb ram,80 gb hdd.
In midi cables their is any differences, like pc to psr 540 one side of midi cable is 15 pin port and other side two midi nobs,and kb to kb 2 separate cables.
or is midi cable standard for all?
please help me to choose perfect h/w to connect to my pc.
