New to midi and need an editor

I am looking for a simple midi editor that will do the following things:
- I need it to be able to shorten the length of a midi file.
- I need it to be capable of converting from type 1 to type 0 midi.
- I need it to be able to crop out a section of a midi file and save it seperately.
- I also need it to be able to normalize the volume of a group of different midi files to an equal volume level for use on a web page.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
