I use my XP-10 in Nuendo but had the same probs. I do not know Cakewalk but can tell you the prob is a setting within the program and not the keyboard. When I finally got a signal in Nuendo, I never have had to touch any of the MIDI stuff on my XP-10 after setting the local MIDI to off.
