: Hello!

: I have connected a MIDI keyboard to the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz audio
: card. I use Power Tracks Pro as audio software. However, the sound that I
: get when playing the keyboard is very quiet and weak. I have maxed up all
: the volume controls I could find (I use Windows XP), but the sound still
: feels sort of muffled. The speakers are alright. In fact, clicking on the
: virtual keyboard delivers powerful sound.

: I thought that this was because I told the software to use a wrong MIDI
: device (I have four listed: Santa Cruz DLS Synth, Microsoft MIDI Mapper,
: Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth and Santa Cruz External MIDI), but
: changing them brings no audible result.

: Can you please suggest a way to make the sound good?

: Many thanks.

: Makar
