Newbie-Midi Keyboard setup

I just pulled a Roland PC-200 MKII midi keyboard out of the garage, which I purchased 7-8 years ago, and hardly used. I have forgotten what I have to do to get it hooked up to my Win2000 PC and recognized by my CakeWalk Home Studio software. Does it need drivers? I have the midi connector hooked up to the game port. Its physically connected but doesn't seem to be recognized in the software. Any help would be appreciated.
