Roland E-16 hook-up to Roland JV-1010

I can't seem to get the keyboard E-16 to play any of the sounds on the JV-1010 module. I think it's got something to do with the transmit channel on the E-16 keyboard. Does anyone know how too change that on the keyboard or how to get it too work?
