how to set up

I have an akai mpc2000xl. On the back It has midi in, midi out, stereo out,and 8 seperate outputs. I want to set uo with a synth( novation ks4) and a yamaha aw16g multitracker and 2 active monitors. I want to use the sequencer on the mpc and have the synth as the slave. Can someone please help me wtih how to set up? What plugs into what etc. Thanx
