: I have installed Cakewalk Music Creator 2003, finally with a lot of difficulty. I am getting the following message:
: NO MIDI OUTPUTS SELECTED
: You have not selected any MIDI outputs. This means you won't be able to hear anything played.

: I click on the choose MIDI output and it displays Microsoft MIDI mapper in the outputs screen. I click on it and hit enter and it takes me back to the NO MIDI OUTPUTS SELECTED screen and starts the cycle over. Any help on this. I basically have no sound. My sound card is SoundMAX Digital audio. Thank you for any help. Would love to get this thing up and running

Your midi output has to be first in the column OUTPUT and has to be selected. Only one output can be selected. So you have to click on that box ''make your selection first'' or something like that. Try all your output, one of them should work. Sometimes you have to close and reopen Music Creator.

Good Luck
