Problems w/Sound Blaster Midi Input

I am having a problem getting the Midi in to play from my Korg Triton 76 Key I cannot get the sound to come in through the midi port on two different sound blaster cards on two seperate computers the midi cable is fine it goes to synthesizer just fine. any help would be appreciated
